Each cooking class is a gastronomic and cultural experience wich allows  to feel close the traditions and tastes of  the Alentejo.

In the old kitchen, the marble bench, is the stage where the participants bring to life the ingredients harvested in the garden or gathered from local producers who, fortunately, insist on traditional techniques without using any chemicals or preservatives.

Here it is baked the Alentejo bread, and it is prepared the entire meal (lunch or dinner).

Here are present  some of the famous wines of this region, and because life is to make toasts ... we are starting the lesson with an Alentejo white wine, to inspire us!
Papper and pen are on our side so that, at home, these notes help us to reproduce the recipes here learned.

The famous local cheese and red sausages, are also part of the daily cooking classes.
It is a hands on program!
All participants have an active role (it´s not just demo!) is indispensable to the realization of this class, which has proved a special moment of conviviality and good mood..

Each class needs a minimum of 2 persons. When it comes to large companies or groups of friends, we have a model that divides the participants into teams, with the ultimate goal: a meal of excellence!

The choice of menus is usually done by the owner, Sofia Vieira taking into account the freshest products in every season, but can be selected according to preference of different groups according to our suggestion and within the standards of the Alentejo cuisine.

Cost per person: € 95 including the class and the meal that follows.

It is performed with a minimum of 2 persons.
